My Unconventional Journey into Business Analysis & Entrepreneurship

In 2018, my entrepreneurial journey began not with a grand plan — but with Sunflower Lashes. It was my first time learning how to procure inventory, design packaging, and sell a physical product from scratch. That experience unlocked something in me.
Soon after, I helped a friend launch Beaded to Perfection, and that’s when I knew — I had something on the inside. I couldn’t stop brainstorming. I started experimenting, selling everything from handmade soaps to beauty products under Diamond Alia Beauty (DAB). I created Daluxe Butta, offering body butters, oils, and scrubs, and even started Dani the Candle Store. There were many more.
Eventually, I realized I was doing too much — and going in too many directions. So I shifted focus from what I was selling to how I was building. I dove deep into business structure, execution, systems, and strategy. And something powerful happened:
I became the go-to person for those around me who needed help launching and legitimizing their own businesses.
Over the years, I’ve worked alongside churches, boutiques, logistics companies like Amazon, home improvement brands, skincare entrepreneurs, and artists — all looking for support with their business back-end, their brand identity, and their big vision. That’s when I realized:
I was made to help others build.
While working full-time in healthcare — moving from department to department — I found myself constantly improving internal processes and being asked by leadership for insights. I kept wondering:
“Is there a job where I can go into a business, identify what’s broken, and fix it?”
Turns out, there is. That job is called a Business Analyst — and I had been doing it all along.
But I didn’t stop there. Back in 2018, God gave me a vision for my future business. I saw something tied to the number 7 — a sign of divine completion. That vision birthed Diamond’s Design Studio 7, which became Studio 7 Media X Design… and now evolves into SevynKeys Co., a faith-rooted startup studio dedicated to helping entrepreneurs launch from scratch and thrive.
I haven’t had a perfect journey, but I’ve had a purposeful one. I’ve built from the ground up, learned through failure and grit, and supported others with everything from branding and web design to LLC formation and launch strategy.
After 7 years of building, trying, growing, and failing forward — I’m finally stepping boldly into the title I’ve earned:
Business Analyst. Brand Architect. Founder of SevynKeys Co.
This is what I was born to do. The wait is over.
We’re in business — let’s build something powerful together.
